we have been together for 4 1/2 years and i lost my virginity to him but him not to me. so i like to play it as safe as i can.

I also get tested twice annually, and I recommend that same to everyone else who is sexually active.
I get tested regularly, I give blood to the red cross, they screen your blood before passing it on and they will let you know by mail. (it is in their waiver).
i never get tested
You can never get tested enough, There are so many people that wont get tested, I always get tested once a year but as long as Ur getting tested good for u!
Your on the right path and being safe! Your right you never can tell one may just pop out of nowhere... well somewhere, but anyways a lot of STD's you can have "sightlently" for years and years with no symptoms and never know it unlsess you get tested.So good for you !!
I usually get tested every year to two years; I'm in a committed relationship.
