My lung collapsed on the 18th and today is the 22nd .?!
Question: My lung callapsed on the 18th and today is the 22nd . I was sent home with meds and no chest tube they want to see if it heals on its own. I have a follow up appointment the 9th. I am still in a lot of pain it comes and goes .when it leaves its nice then when it comes back i feel a popping in my lung. teh pain is more than less. should i go back to the hospital? My other lung has callapsed in the past so it really worries me . Should i go to another hospital?

Never change hospitals! or doctors! Your records and x-rays are at the hospital you went to first. If you are indeed concerned that your lung has collapsed, go back to the doctor who initially diagnosed you. And if you have had this happen before, you should know the symptoms and know when you need to seek help.
Yes, I would go back to the hospital. It sounds like you have a lung that is leaking air. I would go back now if I were you. Go to the ER NOW and demand to speak with someone immediately.
