What are the normal sugar levels...?!

Question: after you have a baby? I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant, but I don't know what the sugar levels are after you have the baby. I want to keep checking my sugar levels but what are the regular numbers? Does anyone know?

Fasting blood sugars in a non-diabetic should generally be <100. The exact reference range may vary from one laboratory to another.

The highest blood sugar level after a meal in a non-diabetic should generally be in the 140's, but after sweets, it could go into the 160's.

Sugar does not normally appear in the urine unless the blood sugar level is > 165.

One difference between diabetics and non-diabetics is that elevated sugar levels tend to come down more slowly in diabetics.

Women who have had gestational diabetes have a higher risk of developing diabetes later in life, and this risk may be reduced by keeping one's weight in the desirable range and by regular exercise.

you should check your sugar in the morning before you eat or drink anything. The normal level should be less than 124. If you are consistently higher than that, you should seek help from your doctor for more blood work. I will start with morning fasting sugar first. I hope this answers your question.

its 60-110 for healthy people on fast( at morning) and less than 180 after meal its beter to consult a doctor because its serius matter don't say not important.

It would be appropriate to consult a physician in this respect,
advice already given quite explanatory.

80 to 120 is considered normal
