What color should a healthy person's pee be?!

Question: What does it mean when your pee is a dark yellow color?

Answers: What does it mean when your pee is a dark yellow color?

Your urine should be clear or very close to clear. If it's dark yellow then you either need to drink more water and if it doesnt become clearer, go see a doctor.

It means your not drinking water !!
Try drinking a half gallon of water a day.
And stay away from the soda!!

Good luck:

it means you are dehydrated. drink more fluids that don't contain caffeine or alcohol.

like others said, it should be clear.

if it's dark, then you need to drink more water. if you start having back pains, then you have a bladder infection. if it feels like you need to go, then you have a urinary tract infection.

you can drink cranberry juice.

or you can buy the drug azo at any drug store. that might help, too.

good luck

I wouldn't worry too much about urine that is dark yellow in color. If it's an amber (dark browninsh-yellow) that might be a concern. Generally, you just need more hydration if your urine is consistently dark yellow. Most people's urine is slightly dark upon first voiding in the morning, as it is more concentrated at this time.

Urine should be clear to light yellow (not dark yellow). Dark yellow urine could be an indication of dehydration- or not drinking enough water or fluids (caffinated sodas & coffee can contibute to dehydration, so do not really count as healthy fluid replacements). Some medications can also change the color of your urine.

pure color...clear one.
dark yellow color means that you are not drinking enough water.

If your pee is a darker color, it just means you're dehydrated. Drink more water and your pee will get a lot lighter. Nothing's wrong with you, it's something athletes deal with all the time.

why do u care about pee?
thanks for the 2 points anyway.............

A pale yellow is ideal. Up your water intake and see if your urine changes color. If not, go in to see a doctor to make sure there's no other problem. Diabetes, kidney disease, and a host of other diseases.

Good luck!
