There is over the counter wart remover at any drug store which you can use. A word of caution, there are skin conditions, especially as one gets older that are not warts but look similar to a wart and using wart remover on these will only get you an open, raw area of skin. It would be advantageous to go to a dermatologist and have him remove it either way because this would be the safest way to get rid of it.
Yes there is a remedy for both. However you will need to have it diagnosed just which one it is. See a Doctor,or a Dermatologist to make a decision what needs to be done once it is known what it is , the Doctor can take the right action, that is likely to be pain free.
