a pacemaker will not influence breathlessness, breathlessness is caused by many factors such as copd,fluid on the heart , fluid in the lungs, asthma, overweight body mass and poor physical make up to name a few. hope this helps. pace makers regulate a constant heartbeat.

I believe the pacemaker adjusts the hearts rhythm when it goes out of sync.When there`s a problem with the heart the breath would be effected.
