I have sore/infected lympthnos on the back of my head. How long should it take f!
Question: I'm worried and I have taken antibiotic pills for two weeks and they still haven't gone away. The pills are called Cephalixin capsules 500 mg. What is the medicine to take and why haven't they gone away. What else could my "infected lympthnos" be? PLZ help. I would prefer a doctor to answer this question.

Those type of infections can take some time to heal although 2 weeks on Cephalexin should have shown at least a little improvement. Did they do CBC? Comprehensive metabolic panel or CMP, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). What are your symptoms?? If those labs point in the direction of an infection then I would consider a change in antibiotics and posibly a lymph node biopsy.
Augmentin could be a good antibiotic choice.
