I suggest you go to these sites if you haven't already:

http://www.breastcancer.org

http://www.breastcancercare.org.uk

Both have a lot of information from professionals, as well as forums where you are much more likely to find someone who is or has been in your situation than you are here.

Good luck.

I haven't gotten full results of my biopsy to know if I will ge getting Tamoxifen.

If they say to take it, I dam well will. I'm stage 2b/3a, so unlike DCIS, there's a high chance my cancer will return. ANything that will minimize that chance, I'm all over it.

It's not about staying in my comfort zone, it's about staying alive.

Your doctor has prescribed tamoxifen for you. Tamoxifen comes as a tablet to take by mouth.
This medication is used to:
* treat breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body in men and women.
* treat early breast cancer in women who have already been treated with surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy.
* reduce the risk of developing a more serious type of breast cancer in women who have had ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS; a type of breast cancer that does not spread outside of the milk duct where it forms) and who have been treated with surgery and radiation.
* reduce the risk of breast cancer in women who are at high risk for the disease due to their age, personal medical history, and family medical history.
Tamoxifen is in a class of medications known as antiestrogens. It blocks the activity of estrogen (a female hormone) in the breast. This may stop the growth of some breast tumors that need estrogen to grow.
