I'm having heart flutters. Should I be worried?!

Question: There is no pain, just a bit of an irregular heart beat. It started after I ate too many cookies.

You are having a classic sugar rush. It should go away. :)

Nah, don't worry about it. It's probably just gastric.

It could be too much sugar. If it continues..go see a doctor.

hahah i love cookies too!

Chocolate ? Could be the caffeine

its the caffiene. get tested for rapid heart beat syndrome my wife has it.

Tootie

Could be "hyper activity" from sugar...However,
If it persists, I would recommend going to see the
doctor without further hesitation.

Its definitly the unhealthy eating. I've had the same experience after eating too much junk at once. I can't explain it but its something with the unhealthy food! I bet you wouldnt have had those heart flutters if you ate celery sticks!

Please call your doctor to make sure there is nothing seriously wrong with you! The emergency room is open 24 hours a day you can call and they can answer this question the best for you!

Scary! I used to run to the ER all the time when it happened to me, however after several trips to the ER and several testing for my heart from my doctor I'm fine... For me it's acid reflux.

I would advice you to go have it checked out

Me too. You're dying. Just like me.It happens with old age.

Good question, my heart rate is super weird too. At rest, it's 98bpm, lying down it's 80bpm and after exercise it's 153bpm. Maybe I ate too many cookies too... :(

...oh no...i sometimes have word activated sugar rushes...must...hold...back...OUTBURST!!...

You could always have a 24 hour Holter monitor to see you heart activity. I really wouldn't worry too much though.

Maybe there was a lot of fat in those cookies.
