Any cough persisting more than a week, should be evaluated by a physician. Here are a few simple home remedies that will help to overcome cough. Have honey in a hot drink before bed time.To relieve fits of coughing due to dryness in the throat, suck a few pepper corns. i'd say go to the doctor asap because you cough shouldnt be so severe it bothers you that much
the clear liquid is usually what happens when you have a gag reflex, but there is noting in your stomach to throw up

please go see your doctor...it would make me feel a lot better

i would go back to your doctor, tell him your symptoms and i wouldn't leave it to long to see him or her.
I'm no doctor but i'm wondering if you are allergic to the antibiotic.
I would check it out pronto!

u might have bronchitis go back to ur dr and if he gives u antibiotics make sure u finish them as prescribed or it would be like u never started them

I am just getting over Bronchitis and it sounds like you have it now. You should ALWAYS finish your dose of antibiotics. When you do not finish the dose, your infection builds up immunities to that drug. Thus, that drug is no longer effective. You should go see the doctor as soon as possible. Your cough should not be so bad that you cannot hold anything down. If you have an after-hours clinic, you should go. They need to give you an inhaler with some Albuterol. You need to feel better for the Holidays!

Best Wishes!
