I have a sore under my tongue. canker or herpe?!
Question: I have one tiny whitish, round sore underneath my tongue, it is near the very bottom of my bottom gum. Ive heard that herpes that are inside the mouth only occur in on the roof of your mouth or in the back of your throat..also that they are red and are usually in small clusters rather than just one. Ive had these sores before but they are always just at the base of my gums, tongue, under tongue, inside of my lips and sometimes the cheek. they are always white, usually slightly lumpy but not much at all. and they are usually pretty small. sometimes they look like they have a small hole in them. When I first began getting the outbreak of them was worse than they usually are now. I rarely ever get them though. im pretty sure they are ulcers but I need to be sure. I had oral sex with my bf last night and I felt this sore later in the night. I dont believe it could be herpes. Am i wrong?

camker sore, not herpes. Use hydrogen peroxide as mouthwash for a week, afer meals, plus 3 times a day.

If you are really worried about it I would go to the doctors. But, if they are white-ish I would say they are canker. Herpes usually dont appear for a few days after contact at the earliest. You could be just nervous and might be noticing the small change because of the sexual contact you had with your boyfriend.
But, do you ever bit the inside of your mouth. Like your cheeks or inner lip because doing that can cause bumps and sore because of the irritation.
I think you're fine but definitly go to the doctor. And since you are worried that it might be herpes, talk to you boyfriend; if you're going to have sexual contact with him you should know if he is clean or not.
it could be...go get tested!
