Poor vision is it genetic??!


Question: i was wondering since i have poor vision and i constantly use glasses and lenses...will this poor vision be passed on to my younger generation if i have kids??? is it genticially inheritable

i think it might depend on if u had poor vision once u were born...if yes then it was genetically passed on. If not then it prob would have been u haven't been treating ur eyes real well

Yes, it is all genetic...my whole family wears glasses, but as along as it is correctable it is not a big deal.

Yes, it is genetic. Yet, not all your children may inherit it. But you can guarantee that at least one will.

Yes. You can get it for your mom or your dad. I have it, i have symatisim, or something. I not 20/20. I wear contacts, and glasses.

I believe so, my whole family has bad eyes
