I have a painful zit under my eye--how do I get rid of it??!
Question: I have a small-ish (but getting larger, I'm sure) zit under my eye. It's NOT a sty. It is located in the circle-part underneath your eye, on the side closer to my nose. At first, it was just kind of annoying, but now it's becoming a painful zit that is ugly and needs to go.
How do I get rid of it? There is no way that I can squeeze this thing, for those who will suggest it, and with Christmas tomorrow I don't want a zit on my EYE of all places.

It's in a dangerous area - so don't squeeze it - and take some hot compresses to the area a lot today. Heat in micro for double warmth - also be sure to wash with an acne wash, and acne cream - the less you play with it the better -

Get a pin and push it in to it :) It should have the same effect as squeezing it would.
Don't pop it. . .it'll leave a scar!

First, boil a medium amount of water on the stove, then pour it into a large bowl. Put your face over the bowl and put a towel over your head to trap the steam. This will open your pores and make it easier to clean out the dirt and bacteria in the zit. Then wash your face with any face wash designed for zits. After that, but a facial or mud mask over the zit, this will remove any oils. Then hold an ice cube over the zit so the pore will close and the swelling will go down.
This always worked for me, but it won't go away right when you finish, keep that in mind. It should speed up the healing process though, so it will go away faster. I would even suggest that at night, you put facial mix on the zit so that it can't pick more oils up, that way it won't get more infected. If it picks up more oils it would probably get bigger.

its gonna hurt but its the safest way to make sure it doesnt get any bigger or infected :D
Acne can be embarrassing at the best of times. I would try going into a site called Epinions.com and find out what users are saying about various products. Good hygene which involves regular bathing helps a lot. Good internal health is a major contributor to healthy skin. Try and stay away from the junk foods. I
