I've had a cold for 2 weeks but it really depends if you get enough sleep or take something to help you get over it.
it takes 2 weeks so be completly over a cold.
but the first week is usually the worst.

Almost all colds last between 7-10 days but 2 weeks is not unusual. Be sure to take care of yourself. Rest, drink lots of fluids and stay warm. Give your body a chance to heal! You should be feeling better in a little while.
It's been proved that a cold can last up to 3 months and sometimes more! Every ones immune system is different, mine is very bad. I can get allot. If the cold is small it should only last about a week or even a few days.
For the last 10 years I have taken one 500ml vitamin C pill every morning to ward off the cold. I haven't had a cold since.

1-2 weeks...unless there are no further complications...like fever going higher, thicker congestion, vision sort of blurry, etc!
Then, it's doctor time...bigtime!!!
