Dizziness and nausea for more than 1 day?!

Question: Alright, so just to let everyone know, I have a doctor's appointment set for tomorrow, I just want to see if anyone has gone through what I am experiencing or has any tips to make the dizziness subside without a prescription (I will more than likely get one tomorrow, but I don't have it today)

When I went to bed on Christmas Eve, I took my 10 mg Zolpidem (generic for Ambien). I had not had the pills in a few days. About 10 minutes after I took the pill, I started getting much more dizzy than how I feel when I normally take it. I couldn't even move my head without the room spinning. I thought it might have been because I hadn't taken them in a few days and that it would subside when I woke up. It did not go away when I woke up, and it lasted all day and is still here today (1 1/2 days later). What could be causing the dizziness? I'm not nauseated any more, but I still have to be very careful walking through the house. Any means of getting the dizziness to go away will be appreciated.

If you do not have a headache along with the dizziness and nausea, then its likely caused by the inner ear - maybe an infection or fluid in the ear. Dizziness often causes nausea - it causes seasickness because your ears are getting signals that indicate you are moving. You might be able to get rid of the dizziness by taking 12-hour sudafed (the original kind) or Claritin-D.

If you had a persistent dull headache along with the symptoms, it would be a medical emergency - warning signs of a neurological problem such as an aneurysm.

Maybe your body is getting used to these pills.

dizziness like that could be related to another issue such an inner ear infection or something to that effect. otherwise I would have to say that you are just reacting poorly to the medication. Could it be interacting with anything else in your system? Had you taken anything else or perhaps alcohol?

ARE YOU SURE YOU DID NOT HAVE ALCOHOL?
seems this would cause a problem, are you taking other medications, even homely remedies????
sleeping tablets are a no no for me, anything can counter react such !
