I would strongly recommend using this website> http://www.webmd.com.
It has info about the antibiotic, a symptom checker so you can see how concerned you should be & more.
Hope you feel better soon. It's not easy when you're pregnant & sick because they don't want to harm the baby. You can ask for more help at any time you need to. Don't take no for an answer, even if it means you call other Dr's. I know it's frowned on but if you don't feel you're getting the best then switch.
Hope this helps.

go back and see your doctor Hun u shud be feeling better by now

the time it takes an antibiotic to work is all depending on the type of antibiotic and what kind of bacterial strand they are fighting. You must take all the medication in order for it to work completely. if you stop taking it your body will build up an immune to the meds and it will no longer fight off the strands of bacteria for which it was originally developed. Maybe they need to change to a different kind. I hope you feel better~ and good luck with the baby!

The length of time varies. In general, you should be free of symptoms at least several days before your prescription runs out.

I have had antibiotics eliminate symptoms in a single day, and at the other end of the spectrum, i was on antibiotics for over one month before i started to get rid of a sinus infection.

If your meds aren't working, the best thing to do is to call the docs office and tell them the meds don't seem to be working. They may extend the current treatment or try a different antibiotic.

they usually start to work after taking them for 3 days

read the instructions
