What is the difference between laryngitis and sore throat? What causes them and !

Question: Sore throath is infection of the throat and it is usually viral infection; the symptoms include tickling throat, you feel like you want to scratch your throat, some times with difficulty swallowing, if it gets bad it might be because of secondary bacterial infection, thats why we give the patient antibiotics. laryngitis is the loss of voice, they call it dysphonia, you feel like you can't speak, it is a symptom of upper respiratory track infection, it is viral infection and it subsides by it self, it just needs supportive therapy like lots of water and vitamin C, some honey with lemon might help.
