I got dark spots on ma face.how can i deal with it?!

Question: Poor you! No wonder you are distressed.
Is it just a few spots or many?
If it is a few, you could use a cream called "Fade Away" just on the spots. My friend started getting dark patches of skin on her upper lip after coming off the Pill and she used it for only a few weeks and it worked. It is a bleach, but safe, especially as you don't need to use it for long.
My Mum had a horrible skin discolouration for years. It began on her forehead, like a big blotch, one winter. A few years later, she had it all over her face and no concealer or make-up could cover it.
It was some melanin problem, but the doctor didn't know what was causing it.
She tried so many creams and tablets but nothing helped. Then, suddenly, it went just as mysteriously as it came. She has been using some Shiseido face care products called "Smart Method & Face" but I don't really know if her discolouration went away because of them. And they are a bit expensive.
I think you should browse the various products available at Boots or somewhere and see what you can afford and maybe ask for a sample at first. Perhaps some beautician can help too, because, depending where you live, it is not so easy to get to see a dermatologist!
And you could try taking Vitamin C supplements. And if you are wary of cosmetic bleaches, use lemon juice on the spots.
Zinc is good too, but you can't take it the same time you take Vit. C because they don't work together.
And this may sound really odd, but I have an Asian friend who says banana skin really helped her dark brown patch fade! It was on her arm, not her face, but she ate a banana every day, and put the freshly peeled skin, white side down, on the patch, left it for about 10 minutes, then washed it off.
Now I can just imagine you, not knowing how many of these spots you have, with little slices of banana peel all over your face! Hope that cheered you up at least! But really, it is supposed to work!
Then there is positive thinking. In my family, we all try hard to use that. You tell yourself, every time you look in the mirror, "My skin is healthy and the spots are going" and after some time, stop even thinking about them. You won't have to say it anymore because you'll start believing it and they will go!
And if none of that works, just think of my Mum - I am sure she would have preferred a few spots to a once beautiful face that became a patchwork of brown and white blotches! So, please cheer up, because if you can laugh you can heal!
I have run out of ideas, but I hope this helps you somehow, even by cheering you up!
Good luck!

Go to the dermatologist

We just had a talk about this on one of my other forums. A couple of the ladies there swear by tea tree oil for dealing with liver spots and similar marks.

Good luck!

You can use Ambi lightening products. They make them for different skin types and are very reasonably priced. All of the other brands cost a lot and have exactly the same ingredients. If it is from acne you may find salycylic (sp?) acid acne treatments helpful because they exfoliate. Use sunscreen religiously, even if you are non-caucasion, because treatment will not work if you are getting UV exposure on the same areas- I know from experience! It may take several weeks to see a big difference, but don't give up.
