Question: ok, i met this gurl she had herpes since she was born so idk if i have them cuz i had sex with her unprotected for like 20 seconds before putting a comdom on and she told me after i had sex with her so...she told me that she didnt have the genital herpes, she had the herpes that was in her neck or somthing but my frends tell me that somtimes u can be immune to them, is there such a thing as herpes thats not an STD or something like that, and im 19 and shes 18, i had a panic attack wen i found out so...plz tell me, i lost all my frends and im like going through a paraniod *** time rite now. and she didnt have any cold sores or anything she was an average clean gurl, wen i had sex with her we were going out for a month so i kno shes not a one night stand

There is two types of HSV(herpes simplex virus). You can get either one from sexual contact or oral sex. If your girlfriend has a cold sore and goes down on you, she can give you herpes down there.
As for your health status... Go to the health department and get a blood test. That is the only way to know unless you have lesions on your penis that they can swab..
Don't have unprotected sex ever again unless you are married. Oh and one more thing you can get HSV and HPV even if you use a condom;. Google it and read up and look at some pictures. I promise you wont have sex until you are married.
yes there is an herpes that is not an std they are commonly none as cold sore it isnt a std but it isnt fun do not worry i am 100 percent sure dont worry
no u can't be immune to an std specially herpes but u can show no signs or symptoms. herpes don't usually happen on the kneck but if she gets cold sores around her mouth then its a possability that she could have had herpes and transfered them to your genitals if she gave u oral sex (and u wern't wearing a condom). girls can look clean and still have an std, any one who has sex could get an std. no more one nighters for u for a while get tested for herpes just in case. hsv1 and hsv2 are caused by the same herpes virus they are just different strains oral and genital.
