Answers: what is the worst type of diabetes you can have? like and what is the least worst.?

Okay, we've learned that there are two main types... 1 and 2. There are other ones as well: http://medical-dictionary.thefreediction... but I digress. Diabetes basically means anything that causes high blood sugar. As you can see from the link there are lots.

To answer your question, the worst is brittle as it is the hardest to control. Otherwise, the answer would be the one that is easiest to control and there is no simple answer to that. Type 2 is generally fairly easy to control if the patient is willing to do some research, carefully watch their diet, and get plenty of exercise. Without continued vigilance, no diabetes is easy to control. So, I guess the best answer is, least worse is the one that's controlled the best. That's pretty much up to the patient and/or their caregiver. Personally, I feel that one can never know too much when it comes to their health.

There are only two types of diabetes that I know of, and they are equally as bad.

there are only two types and the first is mostly developed in early childhood which is hard on everybody and it can be very hard to control. this is called "brittle" diabetes and unfortunately i have this condition.

on the other hand type 2 diabetes is developed through old age or obesity and is relatively easy to control through prescription pills and the new technology of insulin "inhalers". only in rare cases are shots involved, quite the opposite from type 1.

There are two types. Type I, formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes, results from the pancreas failing to produce insulin. Insulin is basically the key that unlocks to the door to the cells to let glucose in. If glucose cannot get into the cell, then in remians in the blood stream causing an array of health problems such as infections, blindness, loss of limbs because of the lack of blood flow to the legs, and kidney failure. In Type II Diabetes, the pancreas may still produce insulin, but the body does not use it properly. Obesity is a major risk factor for this type of diabetes. Both are very bad and can lead to life threatening problems if blood glucose levels are not controlled.
