Could something in my water be causing my acne?!

Question: We moved to a new town about 6 months ago. Since then, my face has gone crazy. I've tried everything. I've switched all of my products, detergents, everything. My dermatologist has put me on a three month cycle of antibiotics. They are helping a little. I seriously think that our water might have high levels of some chemical that I might be allergic to. Is there anyway to check that? I know it sounds crazy but my face actually looks worse after I wash it, like the water irritates it or something. HELP!!! I feel like moving. I'm so frustrated!

According to one book I read on the subject, acne is an indicator of the level of yeast (candida albicans) in the body. Candida flourishes when antibiotics kill off the other bacteria that control candida.

Try a yogurt wash, as well as increasing your consumption of yogurt (plain no sugar/fruit added). The yogurt wash is just plain yogurt diluted with enough water to make it really liquidy.

Check your diet for yeast, and cut down or eliminate it (read food labels).

Yeast can be in water, too.
