Hey Chi Vee?!

Question: Hi, I am 15 and have unprotected anal sex. My partner told me that I should get tested for something called "Hey Chi Vee" and that I could have it? About three weeks after anal sex I was diagnosed with thrush. I have also gotten swollen lymph nodes, a bad sore throat, tiredness, muscle weakness, and a slight fever. Is the thrush related to the other symptoms and is this all Hey Chi Vee is? I'm embarassed to go to the doctor again or tell my mom.

i think they may have meant HIV and u can get it through unprotected sex. u may want to ask your partner why they think u need to be tested. u could have either thrush or herpes the two are urelated to HIV which means that they don't cause hiv, they are totally different from hiv and the symptoms are slightly different. u could always go to a different doctor and ask them to test for thrushm herpes and hiv to be on the safe side and u should tell your mom at least. i told my mom about me having herpes and she was not mad about it.
by the way start using condoms if u are not going to be in a monogomus (only with one person) commited relationship.

Okay...to tell you the truth....I have no idea what you are talking about.

But I do believe that those symptoms are related to thrush...or so I know of from being around babies with it.

Find out the correct spelling of the disease and research it online.

Plus, you might want to find out from your partner WHY they think you have it....maybe he can tell you what the hell he is talking about because I have no idea!

You know it's funny seeing that you answered the same question from someone else about 8 hours ago! :) Funny things, those history sheets. I think your answer was,

"It's called HIV for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. If you do not use condoms not only are you taking a risk of contracting HIV but many other sexually transmitted infections. You really need to start using condoms or stop having "sex alot."

You need should follow your own advice or stop asking stupid questions you know the answers to. 15 huh? Yeah, I'm sure you are...
