Your just had surgery on your abdomen, and laparoscopic surgery is no exception. You will be tender for a couple of days. The best thing to do is to move around, but not stretch; your stomach muscle layers have suffered a trauma and need to gradually get used to natural movement again, so take it slow, but move just the same...this will keep you from getting too stiff to even move. I know it hurts, but I went through the same thing after my cholecystectomy and movement greatly helped. Try some ibuprofen for the discomfort if your doctor didn't give you some Percocet.

Hope you feel better soon!

Hopefully, you are taking some pain medications on a regular basis. The pain should not be this bad if you have an adequate amount of pain medication on board. You should be having mild to moderate pain after a couple of days post surgery. I think you might need to call your surgeon and talk with him about your pain if it is actually this severe.
