Can hyperventalating cause seizure?!
Question: I had an eeg done and it showed "increased activity", not sure what that means - if you do please let me know. I have a lot of symptoms for focal seizures. My appt. w/ a neurologist isn't til the 3rd of Jan. But my mind is racing with unanswered questions that my family doc can't answer. now when i had eeg done, they flashed lights in my eyes which made me feel a bit funny, my heart was racing! Then he had me hyperventalate for a few minutes. After the first few I started feeling really weird and everything looked all weird my heart was racing. i felt like i would pass out, I remember I told him I really didn't feel right I was spacing out real bad like i do all the time all day long. he told me to keep going. I finished the test but I can't remember the few minutes that followed. Only bits and pieces up to the point when I let the hospital.

I KNOW ITS EASY TO SAY IVE BEEN THERE MYSELF SLIGHTLY DIFF PROBLEM BUT THE FEELING GIDDY AND SICK BIT I KNOW ALL TO WELL YOUVE GOT TO CALM DOWN BREATH DEEP AND RELAX MY LAST VISIT TO THE DOCTOR WAS IN A RUSH BECAUSE OF THE GIDDY AND HEAD FEELING LIGHT, WAS ERASED WHEN HE TOLD ME MY RIGHT EAR WAS COMPLETELY BLOCKED IM NOT SAYING THAT IS THE PROBLEM BUT FOR ME WITH MY TRACK RECORD I CANT AFFORD TO IGNORE ANY STRANGE FEELINGS WITHIN MY HEAD. IVE NOT ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION I KNOW BUT PLEASE CALM DOWN I HOPE YOU MAKE A SPEEDY RECOVERY KEEP YOUR CHIN UP TILL JAN 3RD AND MAYBE YOUR MIND WILL BE RELIEVED OF THE WORRY
