Chocolate chip that I just ate looked wet on the inside. Did it have HIV?!

Question: Ok. I know that many of you have read previous posts but please answer with a serious answer because this is a serious question!

I am 19 years old. I have OCD and a phobia of HIV.

I am scared because I got a cookie from The Great American Cookie Company and after I was eating a few bites, I noticed that the inside of the cookie looked wet. it was moist but the inside looked juicy like.

It was one of the ones that has two cookies with white icing in the middle of the two....like a sandwich.

I don't know how long ago it was made before I bought it and how long it sat there. But I know that I was standing there waiting in line and that cookie was sitting there for at least 25 to 30 seconds before I was even acknowledged and then another like 20 or 30 to 35 seconds until I ate it.

Do you think that this wet look was a bodily fluid that contained HIV?

Also, if it did have HIV in it, do you think that there was enough time for the virus to die?

I am freaking out.

There is no way that a cookie that you bought from The Great American Cookie Company or any place for that matter, contained the HIV virus.

HIV is not an airborne or food-borne virus, and it does not live long outside the body. Even if small amounts of HIV-infected blood were consumed, stomach acid would destroy the virus.

You can calm down on this one. There is no way possible that you could get HIV from this.

Even with a cut in your mouth, HIV would not live in food products.

No, I 100% do not. If a cookie isn't quite cooked all the way it can be juicy looking. I actually enjoy cookies slightly undercooked so I know this from experience. Also, You typically cannot get HIV from swallowing something with it...so even if you gave oral sex to someone with HIV you would still be 99% safe.

NO!! it is just the icing separating that is all

WTF is up with you and HIV are you infected or something??

Honey, if you are seriously this paranoid over these things you NEED to go to a psychiatrist and get meds to help you. this is not normal.
