AIDS in women?!

Question: what is the likelihood of a female homosexual of getting AIDS compared to say....a female heterosexual?

or just how common is it for a lesbian to get AIDS?
is it very common, or less common than straight women?

just something i always wondered, and never really had any facts. it seems to me that a women who has only been with women and never did drugs wouldn't be very likely to get AIDS...but i could be wrong.

i just wanna get the facts...thanks guys =] and gals =]

A woman can get an STD from another woman. Even though sex between women has a reduced likelihood of transmitting HIV, transmission can still occur.

Yes, both women can have, no matter what sexual orientation. There's always oral sex and you could get oral herpes and in this case AIDS you can get it
