Can a person get cancer so many times before they finally succumb to it?!

Question: I am asking if there is a certain amout of times a woman or man can get cancer before they finally die from it? I ask this question because there is a woman in my church who has had cancer 5 times and she is still alive and very healthy and she has had more than one cancer.

Really depends on the person, their cancer, the treatment, and their reaction to the treatment. If this woman has been through the treatment for 5 different cancers then she is one strong lady!!!!!! Some people are more succeptable genetically to the things that cause cancer. That lady must be strong in not only her own will, but in her faith as well. You should ask her to share her story with other cancer patients. She could really be an inspiration to those who are struggling with their own disease. :)

There is no set number of times. It depends on the type of cancer, what stage it progresses to, the treatment, many things.

Cancer is a disease like any other disease.
Is there a limit to the number of times you can have the flue?
If the person heals by himself, then the medical history is unimportant.
However, if the person heals because of medical interventions such as surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation, the medical intervention damages also the healthy body organs. If you have a major medical intervention, it may take the body 5-10 years to heal completely for the elderly, and 2-3 years for young people.
