After you drink too much water and get water poisening, how muhc time do you hav!
Question: By no means, am I a professional, but...
I believe eating something salty can prevent water intoxication. What's happening is water is pouring into your red blood cells and causing them to burst, which can cause a lack of oxygen arriving to the various parts of your body, particularly, the brain.
I'm not sure how long you'd have, it really depends on how much water you've had. But this isn't really a good home experiment to try.
I'd really just avoid drinking massive amounts of water altogether.
