My dad just got a faceful of gasoline?!
Question: He got it in his mouth too. He brushed his teeth and washed his face. He just sneezed up some more gas too. Does he need to do anything else. I dont think its serious enough to see a doctor but do you have any advice, like putting lotion on it or a home remedy?

He should get into the shower and make sure he can get as much of it off as possible. Gas is lipophilic which means that it absorbs rapidly into skin. So, a lot of the gas is in the skin tissue and will cause irritation for a few days. If the skin starts to get worse, a trip to the doctor may be in order.

Let me guess, he was trying to siphon it by sucking through a hose? Lotion is a good idea and he should drink some water but all he can really do is wait it out for a few hours. If there are any serious skin or respiratory reactions he should call a doctor but he will probably be fine.
