the worst word anyone can say to you specially a doctor, my brother died from lukemia two years ago and they were the worst words in my life i ever heard....i wish for cancer to be banned from this world....i wish it was this easy to get rid of it, i lost a brother and a 4 year old lost her father it changes peoples lives for ever...........good luck on your research...
there is interesting point about cancer I like to tell you, there is study ,found strong relationship between dogs and brestcancer, in islame , it is forbidden to keep dogs inside home only for necessary cases
How do i feel about cancer.....the first time my ob oncologist told me that i have cancer i told him not to tell to my family i have one....he said i must tell them and they have the right to know.....until now am not telling my condition only i said its only a prevention for we have history of cancer .i dont want them to bother about my condition......i love them all thats why...i feel cancer makes me a stronger person much more dependent on GOD. I hate cancer. It took my wife that I loved with every inch of my soul.
Unfortunately, I'm all too familiar with cancer. My grandmother died of lung cancer in 1986, my Mom died of myeloma in 1997, my sister is an 11 year cancer survivior, and now I'm dealing with melanoma. Cancer is a horrendous and scary disease that takes a great toll on our emotions, causes financial problems, and has been a burden on society due to lost productivity, increased spending on the disease, etc..
Fortunately, great inroads are being made in terms of fighting cancer. Medical tests, treatments, diagnoses, research and knowledge are better than ever. Survival rates have increased dramatically, but this is still a horrible disease!
Speaking of animals, I have a good friend whose dog just died from lung cancer. So, cancer is a problem in animals too!
my dad died of colon cancer. so to me when i find out someone has any kind of cancer it makes me very sad, not just for me but also for that person. even if the person goes into a remission i feel for that person because i know what they have to go through (radiations, chemos, etc.) and how it exhausts the body. to me cancer is a killer.
its like a night mare to me. i don't like it. its really bad.
Cancer Sucks.

i dont think anyone is going to say "YAY! CANCER!" I had cancer, and it was no fun. I missed out on lots of Highschool, was hard on the people around me, and has now left me with a lame leg. And while, it was AWFUL, it did some good too. It made me realize how important everything was, and how important my future is. It made me grow up a bit faster at 16, which had a lot of downfalls, but a lot of good points too.
Now im 21, cancer free for 2 yrs, and am a great, strong person. All in all, cancer was AWFUL, but it made me the person i am today, which i am VERY proud of :)
It is all I can think about right now. So, Im not even sure anymore. It's like, it's the worst thing I've ever been through - but it's a constant companion right now. How do you hate something that is with you every day? You learn to accept it's presence and to SURVIVE!
