Not long, it sounds as if you waited a long time before going to the ER. BTW you could have gone to the Dr for that during office hours and saved yourself some money.
Call friend and get your Prescription filled as soon as possible, you don't want the infection to get into your blood stream and affect the baby.
Mrsa isn't you main worry here, its a relatively rare type of infection, a plain old ordinary infection can cause you to lose your foot. Don't play games, and if you get sick see a doctor instead of waiting to go to the ER.

Did you mean to say that your car "wouldn't" start? Were you supposed to go back to the ER or see your family doctor? You need to get to the ER or your doctor ASAP, especially since you're pregnant. Everything going on in your body now, affects your baby. Someone has a car who would be more than happy to help you out, so ask, NOW.

You need to find a ride to the pharmacy, infection is nothing to mess with, especially if you are pregnant. As the infection progresses it will start to more and more contaminate the bloodstream and go straight to baby. I hope you at least have the supplies to clean and re-dress the wound. Its important that you get your antibiotic as soon as possible. good luck to you.

You must get this medicine as soon as possible! Call somebody to take you to the pharmacy or take a bus, taxi ect. Do not delay or the infection will get worse fast! Some pharmacies will deliver if you have your doctor call in the order for you. P.S. The world didn't forget you!

call a cab or a friend and get to the pharmacy to get your prescription filled as soon as possible. Have the prescription phoned in so its ready when you get there.

Is there someone you can call to help you get to the pharmacy? You really need to fill that prescription and get the antibiotic. The infection can enter your blood stream and you can get really sick. I don't know how long it is safe to go without the antibiotic, if they gave you something in ER it would be bad to skip a dose, this can result in the infection coming back worse and more resistant to meds. Obviously the sooner you start your antibiotic the better. Even if you don't get MRSA, you can get a regular staph infection and untreated it can go into your blood stream. Look for red streaks going up your leg, this is a sign it is travelling in your blood stream. Two years ago my nephew went outside without shoes, got a cut, the next morning (so maybe 24 hours after getting the cut) he had red streaks and was admitted to the hosptial on iv antibiotics for 2 days. And since you are pregnant this could potentially harm your baby, please call a friend to help you get to the pharmacy!

check with ur DR asap b4 it's too late.ur infected foot may affect ur baby bcoz of the medicine.
