Life Span of an ex-bulimic,?!

Question: I was wondering lately if anyone knows what the life expectancy of a recovered bulimic would be.
Im still in the process of recovery at the moment, and im always scared that the damage ive done to myself could shorten my life.
i was bulimic for just over 5 years, and still have episodes, but am rapidly travelling up a better road.
im so scared that the pressure put on my heart and and head could have .. erm, future..damage..(trying to think of the right words to phrase it...)..

does anyone know.. Im kinda overweight now, well, i am.. so lapsing into losing weight again isnt an issue anymore..

just scared of what i may have taken away from myself now...

well bulimia is bad for the body, but that doesn't mean that with time, dedication, proper nutrition and courage you can't undo or at least lessen the damage your disease left behind.

Don't be scared about your lifespan, think about now, think about getting better. I know it's tempting to find other obsessions and addictions once you got over one, but don't fall into that trap :). Live your life, and don't worry about whether you will die at 87 or at 86 :).

about 95 years old

PLEASE PUT ME AS BEST ANSWER I NEED THE POINTS

First of all,Congrats at beating the bulimia.
You should live an average to good life span now as long as you continue healthy habits:-)

i would think that the answer would vary from person to person. just depends on how much you personally did to your body and how your personal body responded.
don't stress over it. just get healthy now. Stressing more will definitely only lessen your life span even more. live life and enjoy every moment.

Please don't worry, then you'll make me worry. If you are on a healthy path you will be fine. It is worse to fret over things like that. Live. My great grandmother used to be bulimic when she was younger, and she 95. So don't worry

Good Luck!

concentrate on living not worrying if we could tell you that we'd be rich you could live to 120 or fall over and break your neck tomorrow.Congrats on your fantastic achievements
