I used to get allergy shots. You have to go to an allergist and they mix up small doses of your allergen. You must get the shots every week and then lessening until once a month. I got them for about 2 years. There is not instant cure though and I am still allergic but everyone is different.

Kind of - there is a drug called epinephrine (sp?) which stops an allergic reaction and is better than antihistamines. But sadly - there is no permanent cure.

go see an allergy specialist you can start getting small doses of what ever your allergic, with the idea that thru time it will desensitize you to what ever your allergic too. good luck with that.

Epinephrine is not used to control allergies. It is a very short lived drug used when you have life threatening allergy attacks, such as your bronchials narrowing causing severe difficulty breathing, which is called Anaphylaxis. Even then it only works for a short period of time and benadryl is then used.

Excellent site on allergies. Answers a lot of questions for you and it's a safe site, not a junk-science site. Even with years of allergy injections, they don't always work. Best possible solution is to totally avoid furred animals.
