Hi Hunnybunny

What you are describing sounds like a yeast infection. Even though you've been treated for one, it's entirely possible that you have a level 2 type of infection.

For most women, thrush comes and goes with a normal over the counter treatment. For others, it can be more debilitating and stay longer. The normal meds just don't do it.

I have just this kind of thing myself which went on for years and I was surprised to find that for some women, it's so severe they wind up in hospital with it.

It's perfectly treatable but the aim is to find out why it's happened and how to stop it recurring. Your doctor should be able to help you with that.

Treatment is a soluble 3 gram penicillin hit (rather than tablets over a weekly period) and a topical cream called Hydrozole (here in Australia).

Seriously, see your doctor and if he/she isn't listening - move onto one who does.

U could be allergic to condoms.. U should change your detergent and don't take baths...

I'm going to have to agree with Peps on this one. Since you recently took antibotics for other possible things, your yeast infection has probably returned with full force.
Usually when you take antibotics it kills the "good" bacteria within your vagina as well. This will cause your ph balance to go off kilter, making you have another yeast infection.

I know for almost a year I was sick and it was back and forth with yeast infections due to the meds I was on too. I would contact your doctor or perhaps a obgyn specially for this issue.
