Dry skin or Eczema?!

Question: I have been extremely itchy ( I bleed at times)on my legs and thigh area and I noticed red pimple like surface I always put lotion on but it doesn't seem to help the itching. I have dermatitis on other areas of my skin, but this seems different.

Sounds to me like my own ezcema... go see a doctor, they'll be able to check it out, confirm this, and prescribe you some stronger medications that should sort it out, like topical steroid creams (don't worry, they don't have problematic side-effects if you use them as directed).

Eczema. I would encourage you to make an appointment with a dermatologist...

My legs were very itchy at times as well and I would scratch so hard I would make it bleed. For me it was just very dry skin. The red pimple could be an ingrown hair, they always itch on your legs I hate them.

I have eczema on my hands but they've never bled, so I'd suggest you make an appointment with dermatologist.

Here's an article on eczema..Hope it helps..good luck and God Bless

HI Lissette

Here are a few testimonials on healing the issue.

TEA TREE OIL AND APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
3/4/2007: Vinny (highbury21@gmail.com) from Atlanta, GA writes: "I have tried Apple Cider Vinegar and Tea Tree Oil. I find that Tea Tree Oil is best if placed first, and then about a few hrs later, the application of ACV should relieve it. Give it about 3 days, and there ought to be no itch. I love ACV!!!!"

TEA TREE OIL, OLIVE OIL, DRIED OREGANO
2/25/2007: Deanna from Cincinnati, OH writes: "I have chronic itching. I have tried the "very expensive" prescription that my MD gave me, but my mother told me to try:
1 part tea tree oil,
2 parts olive oil
and dried oregano.

I spray it on and not only does it calm the burning and itching but it moisturizes my skin. I haven't had to use my expensive skin cream or take Benedryl in a long time."
