You could possibly have a low iron content and the first symptom of low iron is dizziness when standing. Now the big question I have. Are your parents aware of this? I'm amazed at how many teenagers come on here with questions like this, but they never seem to have discussed their issues with a parent. Talk to your mom or dad.

A poor diet and inactivity will also cause dizziness. Being dizzy is by itself, a lack of oxygen to the brain. Before you get scared by that, realize that a regular healthy diet provides the iron necessary to carry oxygen around the body.

A brain tumor is the least likely problem! An MRI doesn't hurt, by the way. I've had it twice.

Seriously, you need to discuss this problem with your parents or a school nurse. A checkup will do you good and help alleviate your fears. Relax, you aren't symptomatic of a brain tumor!

it happens to everyone when they stand up fast

vitamins help it go away

Most likely, since your 13, you don't have a brain tumor. It might mean you don't have a healthy enough diet. Drink lots of fluids, talk to your parents/guardians about this and see if they can take you to the doctor for a check-up on your concerns.

Good luck, and calm down, hun!!!

i get dizzy a lot and feel weak after.. and i've passed out a couple of times at school because of it. i don't think you have a tumor don't worry about it.. but you would know better than i would

i hope you don't though

Worrying about things like this might (MIGHT- not IS) be a sign of obsessive compulsive disorder. Get some high quality fish oil , it's proven to help with OCD. Look up more about it in search engines, please don't take my word for it only- or anyone else's word on here as ultimate truth. Look it up yourself and how much to take and everything else. It's an amazing thing take for ADD, depression, OCD type tendencies and overall health.

I seriously doubt you have a brain tumor, as you are only 13. If you want to avoid one, DON't USE A CELL PHONE and if you do, use the special ear piece thing on mercola.com (search cell phone) to avoid the deadly rays, which do cause brain tumors (despite what those paid off by cell phone companies tell you).

im 13 too and this happened to me.... by the way im a girl.... but did they do blood tests??... they found that hyboglomin level was low and i was put into the the hosptial and i was given 5 blood transfusions..... but i doubt u have a brain tumor.... but u never know
