How can you treat a burn to upper layer of skin that is thin and is it dangerous!

Question: I think it depends on how large it is but it sounds like a minor burn which is not spreadable nor dangerous to the rest of your skin. Try using neosporin to keep the wound clean. It might bubble up and burn a bit but I wouldn't worry if its only the thin top layer. Keep in mind that our body will tell us if the wound needs medical attention, if so, contact your doctor. Hope this helps:-) Oh! and an old wives tale remedy "rubbing it with butter."
