Why are people refusing to get vacinated or not allowing their children the same!

Question: I don't understand why people or parents of children won't allow treatments for a variety of diseases not to get vacinated.

There is no logical excuse anyone can use to prevent the further spread of disease unless there is a certified medical excuse why you shouldn't, such as an allergy towards the vacine.

These vacinations are all for the Public Good!

And, don't give me this religious bull why you shouldn't because I know some of you will.........

Maybe they are too cheap or ignorant??? I agree with you..

It has been proven that some vaccinations have side effects that some parents aren't willing to risk. That's their personal decision. Just do what's right for you and your children and let other people do what is right for them. As long as you and your children are vaccinated, you don't have to worry about anyone else's personal decisions on the matter.

Some vaccinations are good to have like the one for polio etc. but some are just not that needed, like the one for chicken pox for example. If you have chicken pox when you are a kid, then you'll be immunized for the rest of your life: that saves you the trouble of freaking out when you are an adult cause you didn't have it when you were a kid. Some vaccines are too recent to be trustable, nobody really knows what the side effects could be, so if I can avoid it, I don't get a vaccine for me or for my kids unless it is one that's been there for a while and indispensable.
Some vaccines that seemed to be so great at first turned out to have nasty side effects, so you have to choose what risks you prefer to take...

It has nothing to do with religion, friend!
It has to do with hard-to-uncover factual truth.
Modern vaccines are produced under the guise
of "Public Good" by huge profit-motivated
Pharmaceutical corporations.
Once you understand that "money is always the motive",
then you have the correct mindset to find the truth.
Many vaccines contain dangerous chemicals such as
mercury. Lies are being fed the public that vaccines
are safe, which in fact they are not.
It's not crazy conspiratists who claim this, it is
intelligent doctors and scientists OUTSIDE the
profit driven Pharm industry.
Evidence shows that the exponential increase in cases
of Autism in U.S. children over the past 50 years can
be attributed to chemicals injected through vaccines.
The new "Human Parvo Virus" vaccine scare is being
exposed as a complete hoax to frighten the public
into taking unneeded and dangerous, but highly
profitable vaccines.
The FDA is possibly a tool of Big Pharma, and one only
has to watch any television program to see hundreds
of profit- generating commercials for more and more
drugs.
So if you REALLY care about the "Public Good" I urge
you to learn the truth about the multi- billion dollar
pharmaceutical industry in this country and the untold
thousands of injuries and deaths they cause each year
from their "cash for poison" business.

which vaccine are you talking about? are you talking about vaccine's in general or a specific vaccination?
well, in general i believe that if the child is old enough to decide if they want or don't want a vaccination then that's the youth's choice, for instance the HPV vaccine SHOULD be given only if the teen wants it, the parent in my opinion shouldn't make those type of decisions that can have some consequences for the child.
i understand why some people don't want to take the flu vaccination, i for instance took it one year and i came down with the flu, of course i was probably already exposed to it and that is why i contracted the flu virus.
i believe that people should be warned that if they are exposed to any type of illness (maybe from being around others who are sick) that they should be advised to NOT have the vaccination. other than that, vaccinations do save lives. i understand why some people don't have vaccinations, there has always been a concern that the vaccines cause the virus.
i'm sure that some people do have religious reasons for not allowing their children to have the HPV vaccination, but my concern is not a religious one but a question of whether the rights of the teen are being violated by the parents. parents should not be allowed to make this decision, the teen should because it is their body for which they may suffer side effects.
