I think there is! But if you ask a pediatrician they will say there isn't enough evidence to prove that theory. I don't know that I ever got a definite answer from our sons allergist. My son has eczema that appeared when he was 2 months old at 16 months we also found out he has a peanut allergy. Now they are telling us that eczema can be a sign of other allergies and asthma. Seems suspicious to me. I never knew so many people to have all this when I was growing up compared to the amount of children that I know have it now. My husband and I don't have all these allergies! Great question! I will be watching for other answers!

There are lots of things that can trigger it, not the least of which is heredity. Children need to be immunized.
