Answers: My fiance didn't have the flu shot, and now he's gotten sick with the flu. What can I do to help him?

rest and fluids, tylenol for the aches and pains.

For yourself, keep your hands away from your face and wash your hands every time you touch something that he has been in contact with.

Rest, and plenty of fluids

anti-biotics, see a doctor.

Rest, water, and hot spicy food

Orange juice, plenty of fluids, tissues, and rest! Keep the poor guy warm too cuz he'll get cold!

drink plenty of milk

Lots of rest and fluids. Make him some chicken soup and keep him covered with a blanket.

it is a virus so there is nothing u can do except be in optimum health so your body can fight these invaders.

Zicam cold and flu or theraflu usually relive the misery for me I found it at the drugstore

Lots of rest, plenty of good fluids, medicine, medical help daily.

anti-bacterial soap

Plenty of liquid, soup and lots of rest. Some medicine may help him deal with the symptoms.

bring him to a doctor................

make him chicken soup,
don't bug him.. let him sleep (he needs rest)
And lastly WASH YOUR HANDS so you don't get it,
or get him reinfected.

Lots of fluids, lots of fluids! And try zicam, and mucinex to shorten the duration. Treat the symptoms, and if they get too bad get him to the doc, flu can be dangerous.

some good Rest & Relaxation. and alot of vitamins and antibiotis help alot as well. just go to your doctor and he should prescribe something. but otherwise, a good home remedy is some Tender Love and Care. take care of him !! and hope he feels better

NO ANTIBIOTICS! Viruses are neither alive nor dead. They are raw DNA, and cannot be destroyed by antibiotics. Rest. Fluids. All you can do is wait it out. If it's not avian influenza, then what are you worried about?

Again, NO ANTIBIOTICS! All you're doing by treating viruses with antibiotics is promoting the spread of superbugs like MRSA.

give him airbourne, it will boost his immune system and his body will be able to fight it off. also, make sure he rests

let him rest, plenty of fluids, and flu medicine for relief from those awful symptoms

Orange juice, vitamins, and avoid people or places frequented by people you know are sick. Wash your hands before eating or handling food (sing happy birthday while you are doing it so you know you have been washing long enough) and you should be good.

Say, "Shoo, shoo, Mr.Flu"

Rest as much as possible.

Plenty of clear fluids (soda is not THAT clear).

Only use Gatorade or sports drinks if you cannot hold solids down for a day or more. Use this for electrolyte replacement, not flavor.

BLAND diet.

Use Tylenol or equivalent to control fevers.

If this keeps up for more than a few days, seek medical aid.

Pump him full of Airborne. It has lots of vitamin C to boost his immune system and help him fight off the virus. It usually shortens the duration of the flu and makes the symptoms less severe.

Don't bother taking him to the doctor, they won't do anything for him anyway since antibiotics don't work for viral infections.

Take plenty of rest and water. Also exercise and take nutritious food, less meat. Take baths with warm water. Go see a doctor. Flu virus can't be stopped easily because they are constantly evolving. That's why flu viruses never stop since the dawn of time. Keep yourself healthy and clean is the only way to prevent it.

1. Keep him indoors.
2. He should be in bed.
3. Lots of fluids (preferably warm), avoid alcohol (no "vin brulee"). Tea is preferable. Herbal tea. Camomilla, tilly tree. Sweetened with honey and with lots of lemon.
4. I found myself that lemon slices with honey also helps.
5. If fever rises or he loses conscience call emergency immediately.
6. As a general rule, feed him lots of liquids and vitamin C.
7. On another basis, it is known that fresh raw garlic or onions also kill the flu virus. Eat some but only if you like them and have a "soft" food they'd go with - steamed chicken with vegetables for instance go with raw garlic. Or mix in a blender a grain of garlic with fresh plain yoghurt or sour cream, or cottage cheese. It'll make an excellent spread for toast. That is if you really feel you can handle raw garlic or onions...
8. Chicken soup may also help....

make sure he has on layers, you are cold one minute and warm the next when you have it.
