I was drinking, and it regurgitated, why is my chest/lungs sore ?!

Question: It's probably temporary, but when I think about it ... I did kind of regurgitate fast, and hard unexpectedly. The beer rushed back out my mouth, will drinking tonight make it worse ?
( How can I get my lungs back to normal, does it take more than a few hours ? )

The beer isn't really the problem, it's the fact that I chugged it too fast without paying attention.

When you brought the beer back up, not all of the beer will have left your lungs.

The remaining liquid in your lungs is causing the pain as the beer is gassy and affecting your air sacs. It probably feels like you want to cough too.

This is normal.
Don't worry; the mild pain will leave you after a few hours.

Hope this relieved you.

Your muscles are just sore, quit getting your panties in a wad. When you puke, your stomach and chest muscles have to clamp down pretty hard to force liquid up (the wrong way) and out. Almost everyone gets a bit sore after a morning of yakking up last night's pleasure - it's muscle soreness. It'll go away in a bit if you are fit - longer if you're a lazy couch potatoe.

beer and regurg is full of acid from your tummy. it could have gone back into your lungs. better get it checked. it could kill you.

it could be just refulux. stop drinking. sounds like you have an ulcer too.
