Best thing to use for acne?!

Question: Basically, anything with Salicylic Acid in it. Check the back of spot products in your Superdrug/Boots/chemist, many don't have this. It's also important to moisturise - it makes spots worse if you don't. Many spot products dry out skin and your sebum pores will over work to produce more oil for your skin if skin is dry, this will lead to an excess and therefore more spots. You can get specialist moisturiser in the shops for spot prone skin or just use E45.

Be very wary of doctor prescribed stuff - when I was younger, the doc put me on these special tablets for six months. When the course had finished my spots came back and he put me on them for another 3 months but it had a terrible affect on my hair and nails - my hair went all wiry and my nails split. Never completely recovered even 10 years on.

see the pharmacist there is a lotion with tea tree in that helps i believe

The best thing to use for acne is in my opinion not drug-based. Acne is often caused by a diet high in junk food (particularly sugar and fat) and low in nutrients, particularly essential fatty acids and zinc.

My advice is (if you eat it - I don't know you!) to eat less rubbish, take a decent multivitamin/mineral and possibly a supplement of essential fats. As far as external applications are concerned, a good antibacterial soap often helps.

Don't touch it.
Use water and soap

It depends on the severity of it, if its a few spots like me then try Freederm is about
