What helps an allergic reaction go down the fastest?!

Question: Because I ate something the other day, and my lips got all red and itching. I tried chapstick and it made it worse. So I didnt put anything on it and my lipz got really really dry and chapped! What should I put on it if it happens again?

Honestly, you should go see a doctor and figure out what is causing that. I did that a few times and thought it was nothing really that important, but mentioned it casually to my doctor when we were looking at my other allergies and he became very concerned. He said swelling of the lips is one of the first signs of anaphylaxis and ordered a food allergy test that day. Turns out I was allergic to peanuts, which is an allergy that will get worse with exposure and could kill a person, so it's best to get it checked out so you'll know what to avoid.

take a Benadryl. usually works pretty good.

Take an antihistimine like Benadryl, either the cream or the liquid.

try benadryl ointment and apply to affected area. You can also try the capsules they work when you have a hives outbreak. For the dry lips use the Vaseline ointment plain with no perfumes, dyes, etc. I hope this helps !

antihistamine, like benadryl

benadryl thats what they would give you at the hospital its for allergic reactions trust me I have had many of them

Bendryl for lips use ky for lips.Vaseline has perfumes and deodrants.

use liquid Benedryl exactly as directed for a few days. put neosporin on your lips. keep a food diary and follow up with your allergist ASAP.
