Is it possible to recover 100% from smoking at age 35, if I quit now?!

Question: Absolutely! My husband and I quit exactly 2 years ago. I was 48. We are both healthier and richer. lol

Oh yeah........We don't stink anymore either. : )

If you need more encouragement, check out what happens when you quit.

Yes it is impossible...

For you to be 100% "smoke free" you should never of smoked in the first place!

Yes, in time you would recover completely and bring your risks back down to normal.

Please try and do it because the diseases you can get from smoking are so horrible and painful and they can severely restrict your life.

I hope you manage.......Good Luck ?

You can come close - it will take a few years, but some things recover quickly.

If I remember correctly, the general "rule of thumb" for that goes something like... for every year you smoked, after you've quit it takes 2 years to recover...? It's something close to that.

Ideally, if you quit now, and get/stay healthy & fit, you'll be well off. Your lungs need time to heal.

Good luck to you!

It is never possible to fully recover. But the sooner you quit, the better the recovery will be.

No, I don't think that that you can recover 100% as some damage just can't be undone, BUT, if you do give up, your health will improve 200 - 300%. It is well worth your while to do it.
