Either an infectious disease specialist or a GI (gastrointestinal) doctor.
Some GI doctors also handle liver disease (hepatitis is inflammation of the liver). However, since hepatitis (all forms) are infectious, then an infectious disease doctor could also handle it.

im sorry to hear that. i to have it. there are different treatments out there. have you had a biopsy. what you viral load. i have had 2 treatments. neither worked for me but i have had it quite a while im genotype 1a hard to get rid of i hope you find a good doctor
If you want a specialist you should probably get a hepatologist (liver doctor) although I'm not sure how possible that is in a small town. Otherwise go with a gastroenterologist.
