Find a Doctor in Michigan that does diep flaps?!
Question: Does anyone know how to find a Doctor that does the diep flap breast reconstruction in the Michigan area. I'm not sure how to find one on the computer, they are plastic surgeons. So far I have found them in New York, New Orleans, non in Michigan. It is a special microsurgery, somewhat new.

Seems they are hard to come by in Michigan. Here is a link of some docs who do this procedure. Also, check out the other resources on this site. There may be others there who have more recent information or can put you in touch with someone. Can you go to a neighboring state? My suggestion would be to start with U of Michigan - call there and ask for referrals. GOOD LUCK!
