Dark circles {pic}?!

Question: im 15, and aslo a 2 year vegetarian (which mean major lack of nutriton) Also dealing with a sleeping disorder, and I pretty much live off caffiene. I have horrible dark circles and im sick of always having to put conceler under my eyes just so i dont look like i got punched in the face. I also have really pale skin, my skin just dosnt want to tan so that also dosnt help me much. I need help what can i do to make them dissapear!

i hate this picture of me so dont say any rude comments about how i look.i only chose this one because im not wearing any make up so you can really see my circles. (my hair looks dark because there was no flash and i lighten this picture up so you could see me but only my skin lighten not my hair.)

Wow. You sound just like me at your age. What I decided I had was thin skin around my eyes. I went for years not knowing what to do about it.

There is an excellent article in a magazine put out by a local health food store in my area about food that strengthens and nurtures your skin. I am going to start following the advice in it. It is stuff I've read elsewhere at times from various sources, so there must be something to it. I am kind of already doing it, and depending on how well I stick to eating like that, my skin just glows. The article deals with skin coloring, too. Pigment issues which also might be part of it.

The article addresses various issues with skin including this. I've got to get the darn thing back from my mom. (I was letting her read it, too.) I can't remember the specifics, but it talks about thickening your skin and strengthening the collagen in it also.

It says that leafy green veggies, the darker, the better, and complete sources of amino acids are very important. It says vitamin C in fairly high amounts are antioxidants that are great for skin, (I take 1000mg a day because I'm not much of a fruit eater.) Vitamin A, beta carotenes, and don't forget the protien. So, carrots, leafy greens, and protien.

Vitamin E also, but be careful to get it from a natural source because the manmade, chemical version can actually cause acne. (It is usually what they put in cheap and non-foodbased multivitamins.) I think the article also tells you what they call the natural kind. The peak amount you can have per day is 400 IU's i think. Smallest doses that work are always best.

It is important to be getting complete protiens, and sometimes vegetarians don't because you have to remember to combine sources to get the complete proteins. There are aminos that your body can't manufacture by itself that are in complete protiens that aren't in nuts, grains and veggies. I don't know about yogurt. The easiest combo of a vegetarian source I remember is beans and rice. (this could be minute rice and a can of beans. I don't know about green beans.)

Who knows, maybe your sleep disorder could be a protien deficiency also. It's happened before. I will try to get ahold of the article. I could email the article to you if you like, or just stick the stuff about what we are talking about on here when i get it.

What I do is I don't stop eating the things I really like, I just include the good for me stuff along with it, and over time, I develop a taste for the good for me stuff, and I crave the bad for me stuff less and less.

Sorry if I was too longwinded. Or if I assumed you didn't know stuff you did. Hope this helps and happy 2008.

I don't think the circles are that noticeable. I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed them out.

If you want them to go away permanently you need to get more sleep and eat healthier. Being vegetarian shouldn't mean not eating nutritious food. Take a B12 supplement.

They aren't that noticeable don't worry about it, you like fine in the pics

You may just have thin skin under your eyes. I do, so I always have to wear concealer! But, if this is just a recent problem and is related to your diet and lack of sleep...you obviously know what you have to do!!

you look fine but if it bothers you, a little of make up will do the trick.

You need to take treatment which has no side effect because
already you are suffering with more than one problem.I want you to try natural/herbal things to resolve your dark circles and
sleeping disorder because both problems can be resolved easily. You can gather more info in details at some herbal
treatment site like

you look hott in the 2nd pic

They don't look too bad, but a better sleep schedule should help. You state you are dealing with a sleeping disorder, but you also go on to say you 'live off caffeine.
