I think I swallowed nail polish remover?!

Question: This morning, my friends and I played this game where we would put a blind fold on our eyes and then we have to guess what something was infront of us using our sense of smell. My friend put nail polish remover to my nose and then it accidently spilled on me and it got in my mouth and I can't remember if I swallowed any or not. After that, I immedieatly garggled water to get the awful taste out and chewed gum for about an hour and now I feel fine. Do think what I did was alright and if not then what should I do? Should I should have called poison control? Please help me!

The small quantity that might have reached your stomach is probably not going to cause any trouble, if it hasn't yet.

Next time, try drinking a small amount of milk, which neutralizes acid.

if it was only a few drops...you are fine. (which im assuming it was)

if it was more like a cup full...see a doctor.

If it just spilled on you, i can guess even if u did swallow some, it wouldnt be a good enuf amunt, im sure your fine..especially since u gargled water :) just make sure u feel fine, bute its NEVER good to smell things like that..

Haha your so stupid Amy. I ? you. You'll be fine.
