Numbness in head?!

Question: I woke up this morning and the left side of my head & face were numb, like when there is no blood flow. After I sat up I could feel the blood rushing into my head and face, (Burning sensation for a few minutes left side only.) My face was red and swollen for a couple of hours. I have low back problems (pinched nerves) and my legs will start tingling and going numb with severe pain down my right leg. I was wondering if the two were related

I am not a doctor but you should go see a neurosurgeon. These types of doctors specialize in spinal injuries. Call the office of one and tell the person on the phone just what you wrote in your question here.

Cheers!!

i have no idea

Sounds serious... (beginning of a stroke??)... Call your doctor or go to the emergency room, it might get serious.. hopefully not.. Good luck and don't wait, get help.

"Symptoms of stroke are

Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg (especially on one side of the body)
Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding speech
Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
Sudden severe headache with no known cause
If you have any of these symptoms, you must get to a hospital quickly to begin treatment."
