These r some symptoms:
-The patient always tired with body aches all over (some complain of shoulder pain some of arm some of leg..etc)
- Thirsty even after drinking patient still need to drink more
- Hungry all the time.
- Most patients spend long time sleeping
- Dry tongue even after drinking
- numbness over hands or feet
- There breath smells like acetone (like nail polish remover) which is a toxic substance that appears in breath and urine indicating that glucose level is very very high in blood.
- In old days physicians used to identify diabetic patients by tasting there urine for sugar it may sound gross but it's true and helpful.
- loss of weight over a short time
- patient is pale
- frequency of urine

1. extremely tired
2. very thirsty
3. dizzy
4. fever sometimes
5. first two are generally ones that hit and i mean you think you are getting enough sleep but if you think about it you are not and then you will realize it.
6. bladder or urine infections very frequent

Diabetes is a very complex disease. There are hundred, if not thousands, of direct and indirect symptoms. Look it up in a Merk Manual, or online.
